A Final Farwell
Okay, the final countdown begins, its been 180 days since you entered room 802 and on Friday it will be the last time for many of you. Let me begin by saying I’ve had a great year, thanks to you. You have been engeretic, enthuastic, and eager to learn. I will hate to see you all go, but life goes on. Your educational journey continues. High school is on the horizon and I have no doubt you will be successful. I hate to see you go, but it’s onaward to bigger and better things. You are an intellligent, innovative, creative and hard-working goup of students. You can compete with any student in the world.
CBC’s production of A Comedy of Errors was a smashing success! And the 8th grade was a great auidence. I’m proud of you. Get ready for a double douse of Shakespeare. Next up, Macbeth, to be performed by H3MS’ own young actors and actresses. It’s going to be good.
Oh, I almost forgot, I have a surprise for everyone on Monday!
Carpia Diem.

So long Mr. Looseveldt! Of course every single one of us will miss you. Your class is great. I really got a lot from it. I never knew how well I wrote poetry before! So bidding you a final goodbye. Thank you.

Hey, Mr. L! Never have I been sooooo sad to see one year pass me by. One of my relatives that I saw this weekend asked me how many days were left of school. When I responded that there were only 5, she said “Not that anyone’s counting, though, right?” And you know what I realized? I was counting. I was counting the days until I leave my security. I mean, we all complain about this school, enumerating all of it’s faults, pointing out all the downs. This going out to all my class mates: When it comes down to it, won’t you miss it too? Won’t you miss the freedom we enjoy here? Won’t you look back here one day and miss it, just like you miss elementary school? Mr. L, won’t you continue on the blog, for us older students? So we can come back and comment still? Good bye, and thanks for an awsome year!

It’s been almost a month since school’s been out, but I still miss it all. I had a great time in your class, Mr.L, you were one of my favorite teachers. You’re a great teacher, and I learned a lot in your class, but we had fun, too. I’ll miss you in high school!
